The Curacao Cycling
Federation in conjunction with the Caribbean Cycling
Federation invites you to the annual Junior/Juvenile
Caribbean Cycling Championships being held in the beautiful
Island of Curacao Neth. Antilles on the weekend of July
12/13 2008
Information about the CCC 2008
These championships will consist of a 20km (12.5 mile)
individual time trial on Saturday July 12th starting at
9:00am all categories and a 98km (60 mile) road race on
Sunday July 13th starting 8:00am also for all.
The time trial course will be a mostly flat course that
starts at Barber a small neighborhood to WestPoint and back.
The road race course will be an 8km (5 mile) lap there will
be 2 slopes per lap.
Juvenile (ages 15-16) and girls will do 8 laps and juniors
(ages 17-18) 12 laps.
More information will be available in the coming weeks.
Please submit your confirmation by end of this month. The
NAWF will be providing accommodations and meals for a
delegation of twelve (12), i.e. 4 juvenile cyclists, 4
junior cyclists, 2 girl’s cyclists and 2 managers/coaches,
from Friday July 11th to Monday morning July 14th 2008.

Juniors: between 17-18 years of age
Juveniles: 15-16 years of age
Females: only 1 category
Saturday 12th, 2008 “Time Trail”, distance 20km Barber/Boca
Tabla - Juniors/Juveniles/female
Sunday 13th, 2008 “Circuit” distance Juniors 96km (12x8km)
Distance Juveniles 64km (8x8km)
Distance Females 64km (8x8km)
Circuit Aqualectra / Jotin korta, start/finish (not decided)
Start time Time Trail: Saturday 12th at 9.00 am
Star time Circuit: Sunday 13th at 8:00 am
Participating countries: Aruba, St. Maarten, St. Lucia,
Guana, St. Vincent, Barbados, Antigua, Trinidad, Jamaica,
BVI, Puerto Rico (a total of 70 persons)
Each country can participate with 4 juvenile/4 junior/2
female/2 coach
